The injection grouting process described in this standard is used for continuous supporting and corrosion protection of steel tanks installed on concrete bases. The injection grouting is performed by filling the space between the tank bottom and concrete base with grout using an injection pump.This standard provides instructions for the procedures
preceding the injection and the actual injection
procedure.This standard can also be used, as applicable, for
injection grouting of machine and equipment
foundations.The stress caused by the injection pressure must be
observed in the manufacture and installation of the
tank.
