PSK 6400 - Industrial piping and equipment. Assembly of flange connections
The standard gives instructions to installers, supervisors, and designers of the flange connection, also
considering the obligations of the client and the supplier. The aim is to make a flange connection that is
as safe, tight, and maintenance-free as possible. The instructions presented in the standard are general and suitable for use in conventional flange connections of pressure equipment and piping. The gaskets are assumed to be flat gaskets (plate, spiral
wound or camprofile). The tightening torques suitable for flange connections
in piping are presented in standard PSK 6403.
