This standard presents factors to be considered in
design and procurement, when selecting gaskets
for flange connections. The standard also provides instructions for operation of gaskets and maintenance work. -
PSK 6404 - Industrial flat gasket materials. Classification, applications and properties
This standard classifies the materials for gasket sheets
cut to shape and lists the most important material
properties. The standard also presents the thicknesses
for industrial gasket sheets and the item code
designation to be used in procurement. The indicative pressure and temperature limits for the
use of gasket materials presented in this standard are
based on applications identified as suitable in practice,
but they do not cover all industrial applications.
Therefore, in order to achieve a safe connection, the
suitability of the selected gasket material for the
intended application should always be confirmed by the
supplier. The standard does not cover metal gaskets. -
PSK 6406 - Industrial piping and equipment. Flat gasket dimensions and materials for flange connections in FRP pipes
This standard presents dimensions and material
recommendations for narrow (IBC) and full face (FF)
gaskets for FRP-pipe flange connections complying
with standards SFS 5170…SFS 5176.
