This standard discusses the rise mechanisms for the
shaft voltages, bearing voltages and currents and
measurement to observe them. The measurement can be performed at the implementation or if the bearing and shaft currents are
suspected to cause bearing problems. The bearing
condition monitoring during operation is, however,
performed mainly with vibration measurement methods according to the PSK Handbook 3. -
