PSK 7301 - Pipe supporting. Verification of the conformity of supports
The purpose of this standard is to ensure the quality
of the primary supports for industrial piping and to
present quality requirements. -
PSK 7302 - Pipe supporting. Introduction of standard pipe supports
This standard gives information on pipe supporting in
accordance with PSK standards. In addition, some
aspects on the good supporting design shall be presented to minimize the stresses in the piping and attached supports and equipment. -
PSK 7303 - Pipe supporting. Simplified representation of supporting
Simplified graphical symbols according to this
standard are used in piping drawings to define the
location and type of the pipe supports. The purpose of the support markings is to give a
visual picture of supporting of the piping and its
function. This standard shall not be used for the procurement of supports, but the unique standard designation of each support shall be used. -
PSK 7304 - Piping support. Steel pipes. Recommended support spacing
This standard gives instructions for determining support spacing for insulated and uninsulated DN 10
...1200 steel pipes filled with liquid or gas with the
maximum temperature of the pipe contents not exceeding 400 °C. The effect of other equipment connected to the piping must be observed on a case by
case basis. -
PSK 7306 - Pipe supporting. Guides and anchors
Guides and anchors described in this standard are
used according to standard PSK 7302 to restrict
movements of the pipe in required directions. The
solutions presented in this standard are principal
and do not apply for manufacturing as such. -
PSK 7307 - Pipe supporting. Pipe clamp A. Light. DN 10 – 500
Pipe clamps described in this standard are used in
supporting of pipes with outside diameter according
to standard SFS-EN 10220 series 1 in pipe hangers,
slides and anchors. -
PSK 7308 - Pipe supporting. Pipe clamp B. Light. DN 10 – 500
Pipe clamps described in this standard are used in
supporting of pipes with outside diameter
according to standard SFS-EN 10220 series 1 in
pipe hangers according to standard PSK 7340. -
PSK 7309 - Pipe supporting. Pipe clamp C1 and C2. Light. DN 600...1200
Pipe clamps according to this standard are used in
pipe slides for outer diameter series 1 pipes
according to SFS-EN 10220. Maximum allowed
operation temperatures and allowed loads in pipe
slide use are given on standards PSK 7322 and
PSK 7325. The pipe clamps presented in this
standard are not intended for use with hanger
supports in accordance with PSK 7340. -

supporting of pipes with outside diameter according to standard SFS-EN 10220 series 1 in pipe

This standard presents different hanger and spring
support structures, from which the designer
chooses the options suitable for the application.
Additionally, several examples how to combine
these constructions to meet the limitations in surroundings structures have been presented. Attachment structures and components are divided
into load classes, and components belonging to
the same load class shall always be used in the
structure. -

The turnbuckle according to this standard is used in
pipe hangers as shown in standard PSK 7340. -
PSK 7350 - Pipe supporting. Pipe hangers. Jointing sleeve
Jointing sleeves, also known as rod couplings,
according to this standard are used to extend
threaded round bars in pipe hanger supports with
threaded joints. -
PSK 7353 - Pipe supporting. Hanger spring
Hanger springs according to this standard are used
as spring hangers at pipe supports with intent to
maintain suitable supporting force regardless of the
vertical movement of the pipe. They can be used in
the hanger supports according to PSK 7340.
Instructions for use of the spring hanger support are
given in standard PSK 7302. When using a spring hanger support in accordance
with this standard in piping according to PED
classes I–III, the documentation to be delivered with
the spring hanger support shall be agreed on. -
PSK 7360 - Pipe supporting. Pipe lug
Lugs described in this standard are used as guides
for pipe slides according to standards PSK 7320 –
PSK 7323 and PSK 7326. The pipe lugs damp pipe
vibrations and absorb external lateral forces. -
PSK 7361 - Pipe supporting. Guide
Guide type A described in this standard are used as
guides for pipe slides according to standards
PSK 7324, PSK 7325, PSK 7327 and PSK 7328.
They are used to prevent the pipe slides from detaching from the secondary support, to dampen pipe
vibrations and to absorb small external transverse
forces. Guide type B is suitable for all pipe slides according
to standards PSK 7320 ... PSK 7328 and PSK 7376
... PSK 7381. -
PSK 7362 - Pipe supporting. Stopper
Stoppers described in this standard are used to prevent a pipe sliding inside the pipe clamp or the pipe
slide. -
PSK 7364 - Pipe supporting. Foot supports
The foot supports presented in this standard are
used to support pipes of sizes DN 10–500, which
are located close to the floor or other plane. As
an anchor support, thermal movements directed
at the support shall be minimal. Foot supports are usually used connected on the
floor, but they can also be attached to a plane
above, to the wall or to another structure. -
PSK 7365 - Pipe supporting. Attachment plate
Attachment plates according to this standard are used when cross beam or gate support is attached to concrete.

PSK-käsikirja 7 - Pipe classes. Part 2. Carbon steels
The 6th edition of the handbook compiles the latest versions of all PSK pipe class standards. Part 1 of the handbook includes stainless steels, and part 2 covers non-alloyed and alloyed steels under the name carbon steels. The handbook contains pipe class standards for steel piping prepared by PSK Standardisointi. A pipe class refers to a selection of pipes and pipe fittings suitable for the same pipeline, where dimensions and materials are specified. The strength of all pipes and pipe fittings has been calculated in accordance with the pressure equipment directive. The manual provides comprehensive information on piping needed for pipeline design, manufacturing, installation, and procurement. It presents the identifiers of standardized pipe classes and the materials used in these pipe classes. The pipe classes have been prepared for the steel materials most commonly used in industrial pipelines. This handbook, together with PSK Handbook 8 "Pipe Support" and PSK Handbook 9 "Industrial Insulation" as well as other PSK standards dealing with pipelines, forms the foundation of piping design. All handbooks are bilingual (Finnish and English) and are intended for use in both domestic and export projects. The standards have been prepared by experts from the client, supplier, design, contracting, manufacturing, technical trade, and inspection sectors, representing the best practices currently available. Inspection bodies have provided statements on compliance with the pressure equipment directive. The handbook and separate editions of the standards are available from PSK Standardisointi.
