The documents of this standard will be used in the procurement of finishing work for the process and metal industry. The documents apply to the procurement, supervision and acceptance of new, repair and maintenance painting. The protective paint systems to be used are based on the standard SFS 5873.

PSK 2702 - Procurement and Painting of Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Constructions. Recommendation for Use in the Process Industry
The purpose of this standard is to facilitate and harmonize the selection and procurement of hot dip galvanized structures. The standard gives instructions for the selection of correct preparation methods as well as for the selection of protective paint systems if the hot dip galvanized coating is to be painted. The standard deals with the surface treatment of both new and formerly hot dip galvanized structures as well as surface treatment of painted hot dip galvanized structures according to atmospheric corrosivity categories in the various applications of the process industry.The standard deals with hot-rolled and cold-rolled
steel structures including ancillary components that are hot dip galvanized by immersing the pieces of the structure into molten zinc. Further, the standard deals with the painting of steel
sheet galvanized by means of a continuous hotimmersion method outside the manufacturing plant,
but it does not cover hot dip galvanizing of steel sheet. In this standard, any reference to zinc-coating or
galvanizing always refers to hot dip galvanizing. -
PSK 2703 - Surface Treatment of Concrete Floors. Recommendation for Use in the Process Industry
The purpose of this standard is to facilitate and harmonize selection of a correct surface treatment system for indoor concrete floors in various applications of the process industry. In addition the standard presents a selection of coating in places where static electricity can achieve safety risk or damage an electronic component. This standard covers varnishes, paints, coatings and screeds that are substrate on liquid organic resins, suitable for being impregnated and spread with a roller or trowel or a power floated.

PSK 2704 - Protection of metal structures by means of organic linings. Recommendation for use in the process industry
The purpose of this standard is to facilitate and harmonize the choice of a correct lining system for the process industry. The lining systems are based on experiences from the process industry. The lining systems are intended to provide protection against corrosion, erosion, cavitation, abrasion and chemicals as well as against special stresses.
