This standard provides instructions for the design and construction of industrial transformer rooms.The standard is intended to be applied to industrial transformer rooms containing one 1000 to 3150 kVA distribution transformer with a maximum incoming voltage of 24 kV.

This standard provides instructions for the design, layout and construction of electrical equipment rooms for the process industry with a maximum voltage of 1000 V. An electrical equipment room means a switchgear room or a cable compartment.
