This standard describes the factors that affect the space requirements of piping in installation and insulation work, and how piping accessories and thermal expansions during operation should be taken into account.This standard specifies the recommended spacings
for uninsulated and insulated industrial steel process piping.Standard may also be used for other metallic piping materials as well as for thermoplastic and fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) piping, where applicable.
